Gender Studies Series

Gender Studies Series

The "Gender Studies" book series is dedicated to exploring the multifaceted dimensions of gender within social, cultural, political, and economic spheres. We aim to promote a deeper understanding of gender issues and advance gender equality. This series covers a wide range of topics, from theoretical discussions to empirical research, and from historical developments to contemporary challenges. We welcome interdisciplinary perspectives and encourage innovative approaches that reflect the complexity and dynamism of gender studies.

As a flagship series of NCKU Press, "Gender Studies" aims to enhance academic exchanges among scholars both within and outside NCKU, thereby increasing Taiwan's academic influence in the field of gender studies. This series also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5: Gender Equality. By publishing relevant research, we provide academic support for Taiwan's efforts in promoting gender equality and empowering women, while strengthening the university's leadership in this field. We look forward to gathering scholars' insights to contribute to the construction of a more equitable and inclusive society. Through the publication of high-quality research, we aim to highlight Taiwan's commitment and achievements in realizing the SDG 5 goals.
